Our Nannochloropsis Oculata is provided in a convenient dispensing bottle to make feeding your reef tank easy. Our cultures are grown in UV-Sterilized, 1 micron filtered synthetic seawater (salinity 1.025) using silica-free fertilizer. Phytoplankton can be stored in the refrigerator for as long as 90 days (shake it each week to prevent settling).
To provide the most consistent and dense cultures we ship our phytoplankton on Mondays, harvested directly from our reactors with no prior refrigerated storage.
