PodNest

The PodNest is a combined aerator and copepod habitat used in conjunction with our PhytoTank copepod culture system.  When hooked to an air pump to provide gentle aeration, the PodNest supports significant populations of copepods.  To harvest copepods, remove the PodNest from the culture, gently shake it in a container filled with salt water and then use our copepod sieve to recover the copepods.  Please note that the PodNest doesn't sink.  Consequently, select the PodNest Sump Version for use in a sump or refugium.
